Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior iOS Developer based in Bengaluru. The Senior iOS Developer will design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, integrating APIs and services, and optimizing applications for performance and usability. The role involves reviewing code, mentoring junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, and participating in technical discussions and architecture decisions. The developer will also troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, and stay updated with the latest iOS frameworks, tools, and industry trends.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C, with experience in building and maintaining complex iOS applications.
Hands-on experience with iOS frameworks (UIKit, CoreData, CoreAnimation, CoreLocation, etc.) and integration of RESTful APIs and JSON.
Knowledge of Apple’s design principles, Human Interface Guidelines, and best practices for mobile UX/UI.
Experience with Xcode, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code, including unit testing and UI testing.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to debug complex issues, and optimize performance and memory usage.
Proven experience collaborating with product, design, and QA teams, and mentoring other developers.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment.
Experience with enterprise or large-scale mobile applications and exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is beneficial.
