Senior Legal Counsel

Hiring: Senior Manager, Legal (Commercial Contracts) | 7-10 Years | Bangalore
A leading global organisation is looking for a Senior Manager, Legal to lead its contracts function and oversee all commercial contracting activity, while advising management and business teams on legal and regulatory matters.
What you'll do
Lead the contracts function: draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial, vendor, service, bilateral/tripartite, JV, lease, sale and loan agreements
Support business functions on HR, real estate (leases, title due diligence), facilities and administration contracts
Monitor contractual obligations and flag and mitigate risks from deviations, non-compliance or breaches
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and statutory requirements, including labour laws, and liaise with government authorities
Advise management on corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory matters, and work with external counsel
What we're looking for
LLB or equivalent (a postgraduate law degree is a plus)
7-10 years of experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation
5+ years of working with external legal consultants and advocates
4+ years of leading a team
Strong working knowledge of labour law compliances; experience with dynamic employment types is an added advantage
