Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The Electrician will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment across commercial, residential, and industrial sites. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, performing routine inspections, identifying faults, and carrying out corrective actions to ensure safe and efficient operation. The role involves testing and commissioning new installations, documenting work performed, and coordinating with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on project execution. The Electrician is expected to follow all safety standards, comply with relevant codes and regulations, and support preventative maintenance programs.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in electricity principles and practical electrical work skills.
Experience in maintenance & repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Ability to perform effective troubleshooting of electrical faults and system issues.
Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts applied to installations and commissioning.
Knowledge of local electrical codes, safety standards, and use of appropriate tools and test instruments.
Relevant vocational training, ITI/diploma or certification in electrical trade; apprenticeship or prior field experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and load schedules.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work on-site across different types of projects and occasionally in varied shifts as required.
