Senior Architect

Mosadad is looking for a Senior Architect to own the complete technology architecture of the company end-to-end. This person will be the backbone of Mosadad's technology function, responsible for designing scalable systems, robust solutions, clean APIs, secure integrations, AI-enabled systems, and a strong technical foundation for the product and engineering teams. The ideal candidate should be a deep technical thinker, strong system designer, practical problem solver, and trusted advisor to engineering, product, and leadership teams.
Responsibilities:
Own Mosadad's overall technology architecture across applications, platforms, APIs, integrations, AI systems, infrastructure, and data flows.
Design scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable systems for current and future business needs.
Lead solution architecture for new products, modules, features, AI-driven capabilities, partner integrations, and enterprise workflows.
Define API design standards, integration patterns, architecture principles, AI system design principles, and engineering best practices.
Review system designs, technical proposals, database models, API contracts, AI workflows, and infrastructure decisions.
Identify technical risks, scalability gaps, security concerns, performance bottlenecks, AI governance risks, and areas of technical debt.
Work closely with engineering leads, product managers, DevOps, QA, security, data, AI/ML, and business stakeholders.
Guide teams on cloud-native architecture, microservices, modular design, event-driven systems, observability, AI-assisted workflows, and system reliability.
Ensure architecture supports compliance, security, auditability, performance, cost efficiency, responsible AI usage, and long-term scalability.
Mentor engineers and technical leads, helping raise the overall technical maturity of Mosadad.
Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, technical roadmaps, and key architecture decision records.
Requirements:
15+ years of overall software engineering experience.
At least 6+ years in architecture, principal engineer, solution architect, enterprise architect, or senior technical leadership roles.
Proven experience designing large-scale distributed systems and enterprise-grade platforms.
Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI-enabled systems, AI workflows, intelligent automation, LLM-based solutions, or ML-integrated product capabilities.
Strong experience in backend architecture, APIs, integrations, databases, cloud infrastructure, AI system design, and security.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, event-driven architecture, service-oriented architecture, integration patterns, and AI-assisted system architecture.
Strong cloud experience, preferably with Azure. Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and cloud cost management.
Experience designing secure systems with strong authentication, authorization, encryption, audit trails, access control, and responsible AI safeguards.
Ability to make clear technical decisions and explain trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent system design and solution design capability.
Strong hands-on AI system design capability.
Strong API and integration design skills.
Deep understanding of scalable backend systems.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates from top-tier engineering institutions such as IITs, IIITs, NITs, BITS Pilani, or other premier institutes will be preferred.
Experience in the insurance domain is highly preferred.
Experience working with or building platforms for regulated environments will be a strong advantage.
Experience in fintech, payments, payment gateways, collections, lending, or regulated financial platforms will be preferred.
Experience integrating with insurance platforms, banks, payment gateways, ERP platforms, government systems, or external enterprise systems.
Experience working in compliance-heavy, AI-enabled, or security-sensitive environments.
Experience taking products from early-stage architecture to scalable production platforms.
Experience with AI agents, RAG systems, prompt engineering, model evaluation, AI governance, or AI observability.
