Role Description The Director at Eksperta Environmental Services is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading overall business strategy, operational excellence, and service quality across environmental testing and consulting offerings. This position oversees key service lines such as stack emissions testing, CEMS audits, and related technical training and consulting, ensuring compliance with international standards and client requirements. The Director will manage and mentor cross-functional teams, set performance goals, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high technical and safety standards. The role includes building and maintaining client relationships, supporting business development, and representing the company in industry forums and regulatory discussions. The Director will also drive continuous improvement, innovation, and alignment with sustainability and environmental integrity objectives.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and management skills, including team oversight, strategic planning, and performance management.
Experience in environmental services or related industries (e.g., emissions testing, CEMS, energy audits, laboratory services).
Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (such as US EPA methods, ISO 50001, ISO/IEC 17025) and compliance requirements.
Proven ability in client relationship management, stakeholder communication, and collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
Background in engineering, environmental science, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications are advantageous.
Demonstrated experience leading remote or distributed teams and working effectively in a virtual environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Business development acumen, including identifying opportunities, supporting proposals, and contributing to service growth.
Proficiency with digital tools for project management, reporting, and communication.
Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites or industry events, as required.
