Company Description: Care Pack Pvt. Ltd is a cardboard manufacturing plant located in Sanaswadi. Care Pack was founded in 1985 and is located in Sanaswadi.
Role Description: This full-time, on-site Accountant role is based in Sanaswadi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining general ledgers, processing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll entries. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, reconciling bank and account balances, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, assisting with tax calculations and filings, and responding to internal and external financial inquiries. The Accountant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and contribute to process improvements and documentation for financial workflows.
Qualifications:
Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
Ability to handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing activities.
Experience with accounting software Tally and proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic statutory filings relevant to the Pune Division.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
