Deputy Chief Financial Officer

Role Description The Deputy Chief Financial Officer is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting the overall financial leadership and strategic direction of the organization. This role includes overseeing financial planning and budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports. The Deputy CFO will collaborate with senior leadership to analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support long-term business planning. Daily tasks involve reviewing financial data, improving financial controls and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and guiding finance team members in delivering high-quality work. The role also contributes to cross-functional initiatives, providing financial insights that support operational and strategic decisions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
Candidates should possess solid Financial Planning and Financial Reporting skills to manage budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and use of ERP and financial systems is beneficial.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in senior finance roles, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, or a related industry.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
