Backend Developer

Responsibilities:
Write production-ready Node.js / NestJS APIs using AI-assisted coding faster than traditional devs.
Use AI to auto-generate unit & integration tests, no untested code ships.
Leverage AI tools for code reviews, refactoring suggestions, and performance bottleneck detection.
Deploy confidently using CI/CD GitHub Actions, Docker, AWS ECS/ECR, with AI helping write infra configs and debug pipeline failures.
Use AI to write migration scripts, seed data, and PostgreSQL query optimisation.
Ship features in days, not weeks. Iterate fast, break nothing.
Requirements:
Actively use AI coding tools every single day, not occasionally.
Can take a feature from spec code, tested deployed in under 48 hours.
Write clean, modular code that's easy for AI tools to extend.
Have 3-6 years of backend experience (Node.js / NestJS).
Are comfortable with PostgreSQL, AWS, and async architecture.
Have built or contributed to systems where AI noticeably improved delivery speed.
Tech Stack:
Backend: Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript.
Database: PostgreSQL, Redis.
Cloud: AWS (ECS, S3 Lambda, CloudWatch).
AI Tools (Mandatory): Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Perplexity.
DevOps: Docker, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines.
Bonus:
Have used AI agents for automated testing or deployment pipelines.
Have experimented with LangChain, OpenAI API, or Claude API integrations.
Can demo a project where AI cuts your development time by 50%+.
