Role Description The Freelance Photo Editor at www.PROVOKR.com is a part-time, remote role that requires photo researching to illustrate the editorial story as directed, loading the images on to trello, retouching and simple altering of images. Report to the CEO weekly and review and get direction and approvals, and attend the editorial staff meeting once a week. 8-10 hours a week.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Photo Retouching and Image Editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
Candidates should possess Photo Research skills and a solid foundation in Photography principles, including composition, lighting, and color.
Candidates should possess basic to intermediate Video Editing skills for simple cuts, color correction, and formatting short clips.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and adherence to brand and style guidelines.
Candidates should be comfortable working remotely, managing their own schedule, and delivering projects on time.
Previous experience as a photo editor, digital imaging specialist, or similar freelance creative role is preferred.
Familiarity with visual calloboration and project management tools (like Trello) is beneficial.
A portfolio showcasing photo retouching, image editing, and related visual work is required.
