Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telemarketer role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Telemarketer will make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce products or services, explain key features, and generate interest. Daily responsibilities include engaging in clear, professional phone conversations, answering questions, and handling basic customer inquiries. The role involves scheduling appointments or follow-up calls, recording call outcomes, and updating customer information in company systems. The Telemarketer will work closely with the sales team to support lead generation, meet call targets, and contribute to overall revenue goals while maintaining courteous and respectful customer interactions.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
Experience with appointment scheduling and managing follow-ups in a structured workflow.
Customer service skills, including handling questions, concerns, and basic problem resolution.
Sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and support lead conversion.
Basic computer literacy and comfort working with call logs, CRM tools, or spreadsheets.
Ability to work on-site in the Kolkata metropolitan area and meet full-time schedule requirements.
Previous experience in telemarketing, call centers, or sales support is an advantage.
Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; higher education is beneficial.
