Role Description The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant and office operations to ensure smooth production and service delivery. This full-time, on-site role in Ludhiana East includes managing production schedules, coordinating with procurement and logistics, and monitoring inventory levels to avoid delays or shortages. The Operations Manager will track performance metrics, implement process improvements, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role involves supervising and guiding cross-functional teams, resolving operational issues, and collaborating with senior leadership on planning and resource allocation. The Operations Manager will also support budgeting, cost control, and reporting to maintain operational efficiency and support business growth.
Qualifications
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing or engineering environments.
Strong skills in production planning, process optimization, and workflow management.
Ability to interpret data and performance metrics, and use them to drive decision-making.
Effective people management, team leadership, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
Knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in industrial settings.
Proficiency with ERP or operations-related software and basic MS Office applications.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Experience working on-site in a plant or factory environment and readiness to be physically present in Ludhiana East.
