The regional executive director is responsible for the overall business execution, operational management and strategy implementation in the designated region. It is an important senior management position connecting the corporate headquarters strategy and regional business execution.
This position is responsible for transforming the company's overall strategy into a regional business plan, coordinating regional business operations, team management, resource allocation, customer relations and key project execution, and promoting continued regional business growth through performance management and process optimization.
Core responsibilities
1. Regional strategy execution
Develop regional annual business plans based on the company's overall strategy;
Translate group goals into regional business goals and execution plans;
Supervise the implementation of regional strategic projects and key business plans;
Adjust execution strategies according to local market changes;
Regularly report regional operations to the senior management of the headquarters.
2. Regional operation management
Comprehensive supervision of daily business operations in the region;
Establish regional operating standards, processes and management systems;
Monitor revenue, costs, efficiency, customer and service metrics;
Identify regional operational issues and develop improvement plans;
Ensure stable and efficient operation of regional business.
3. Business growth and market development
Identify regional market growth opportunities;
Promote the development of new customers, new markets and new businesses;
Maintain key customers and strategic partners;
Support regional sales and marketing teams in achieving business goals;
Enhance regional market competitiveness and brand influence.
4. Team and Organization Management
Lead the regional management team and business team;
Responsible for the recruitment, training and performance management of regional core positions;
Establish a regional talent echelon and succession mechanism;
Optimize regional organizational structure and staffing;
Build a high-performance, results-oriented team culture.
5. Resource and budget management
Participate in regional annual budget development;
Manage regional personnel, operations and project resources;
Optimize resource allocation according to business priorities;
Supervise regional cost and budget execution;
Improve regional resource utilization efficiency.
6. Cross-department collaboration
Collaborate with headquarters sales, marketing, operations, product, finance, human resources and technology teams;
Promote cross-regional and cross-department projects;
Coordinate resource needs between headquarters and regions;
Resolve major issues in regional implementation;
Establish an efficient information communication and decision-making mechanism.
7. Project and execution management
Oversee the planning and implementation of key regional projects;
Manage project schedule, budget, resources and delivery quality;
Establish regional project KPI and milestone management mechanisms;
Promote strategic projects to be completed as planned;
Escalate and handle major project risks in a timely manner.
8. Risk and Compliance Management
Identify regional business operational risks;
Establish regional risk monitoring and emergency response mechanisms;
Ensure regional business complies with company policies and relevant regulations;
Coordinate legal, financial and compliance teams to handle major matters;
Ensure regional business continuity.
Qualifications
Educational background
Bachelor degree or above, major in business administration, operations management, marketing, economics or related majors;
MBA, EMBA or related master's degree preferred.
work experience
More than 20 years of relevant industry or business management experience;
More than 15 years of experience in regional management or senior operations management;
Experience in Regional Director, Executive Director, Regional VP or General Manager is preferred;
Experience managing multi-site, multi-business unit or cross-regional teams;
Applicants with complete regional operation and management experience will be given priority.
