Director of Financial Management

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a (Director of Financial Management) at LumeFinder Labs. The role is responsible for overseeing all financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support strategic decision-making. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and interpreting financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The director will develop and implement financial policies, collaborate with cross-functional teams on resource allocation, and provide data-driven insights to improve operational and financial performance. This role also includes maintaining compliance with relevant financial regulations, managing relationships with external auditors or financial partners, and leading or mentoring members of the finance team.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance, with proven experience in corporate or strategic financial management.
Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Expertise in Financial Reporting, including management reports, KPI dashboards, and regulatory reporting.
Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide clear recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are an advantage.
Experience leading or managing finance teams, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
Capability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong self-management and digital literacy.
Knowledge of financial regulations, internal controls, and best practices in risk management.
