Vice President of Infrastructure

Role Description The Vice President of Infrastructure is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAXMINT’s global technology infrastructure. This role manages infrastructure roadmaps, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security across cloud, network, and on-premise environments. The Vice President leads cross-functional teams to deliver reliable IT services, coordinates with product and engineering to support platform growth, and implements best practices for performance monitoring and incident response. Daily responsibilities include setting IT strategy, overseeing infrastructure projects, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant security and regulatory standards. The role also involves continuous improvement of infrastructure operations, budget management, and mentoring team members to support a high-performing and collaborative environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure skills, including experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and high-availability architectures.
Candidates should possess IT Strategy skills, including long-term technology planning, budgeting, and alignment of infrastructure with business objectives.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including leading cross-functional initiatives, managing timelines, and delivering complex infrastructure programs.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including securing networks, implementing access controls, and managing security policies and incident response.
Candidates should possess IT Service Management skills, including service delivery, incident and problem management, and continuous improvement practices.
Extensive leadership experience in senior infrastructure or IT operations roles, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or high-growth technology environments.
Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory considerations related to digital assets and real-world asset tokenisation.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
