Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Technician role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Mechanical Technician will inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Daily responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical faults, troubleshooting issues, and completing corrective repairs in accordance with technical manuals and safety standards. The role involves documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with supervisors and other technicians, and supporting continuous improvement of equipment reliability. The Mechanical Technician is expected to follow workplace safety procedures, keep tools and workspaces organized, and respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance for mechanical systems.
Experience in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduled inspections and servicing of equipment.
Ability to perform Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair on mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, tools, and industrial safety practices.
Relevant technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Prior experience in manufacturing, utilities, facilities management, or similar technical environments is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication and time-management skills.
