Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities, financial records, reconciliations, invoicing, and statutory compliance support.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and basic financial reporting, along with hands-on experience using accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank, payment gateway, and ledger reconciliations.
- Track customer, vendor, partner, and business settlements.
- Assist with GST, TDS, TCS, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Prepare GST-related data and coordinate with the CA/tax consultant for filing.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/vendors when required.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain records related to employee expenses, reimbursements, and petty cash.
- Support financial audits and provide required documents and reports.
- Verify platform transactions and settlement reports.
- Coordinate with the operations and management teams regarding financial discrepancies.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of accounting software and financial records.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS and TCS.
- Experience with Tally / Zoho Books / other accounting software.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential financial information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter candidates may also apply.
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in a startup, e-commerce, marketplace, or technology company will be an advantage.
- Experience handling GST and TDS-related accounting activities is preferred.
