About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join Lockheed Martin’s dynamic team, collaborating closely with the US government and defense agencies. Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess a current and active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) with the MD agency. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding advanced degrees or relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CEH. Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, risk management, and defense systems is essential. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, intrusion detection and prevention, vulnerability assessment, and incident response is required. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are critical. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard critical defense systems and infrastructure.
