Role Description
This is a part-time, remote English as a Second Language Teacher role. The teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills–all of which are dependent on student goals. Responsibilities include lesson planning, instruction, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, adapting materials to different proficiency levels, and maintaining accurate attendance and performance records.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience with lesson planning and learner-centered teaching
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
Experience teaching multilingual or multicultural learners
Commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory teaching practices
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and maintain a consistent teaching schedule
Strong understanding of effective teaching methods such as differentiation, creativity, and real-world application
Confidence & autonomy in online-based instruction
Master's degree in Education
5+ years of experience
Compensation:
$50-77 per hour depending on class size
