About the Job
Vercel is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to help enterprise customers modernize frontend applications and adopt AI technologies.
The role focuses on leading complex Next.js migrations, conducting technical code audits, and helping customers build high-performance applications. The engineer will work with enterprise customers and technical teams to assess existing applications, identify modernization opportunities, and guide the implementation of scalable frontend solutions.
This is a remote full-time position with travel to customer sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex frontend modernization initiatives and Next.js migrations.
Work with enterprise customers to assess existing applications and technical architectures.
Conduct code audits to identify modernization, architecture, and performance opportunities.
Design and support high-performance web applications.
Guide customers in adopting modern frontend development practices.
Support enterprise AI adoption initiatives.
Provide technical guidance throughout application migration and modernization projects.
Collaborate with customer engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Identify opportunities to improve application performance and maintainability.
Travel to customer sites when required.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong experience with modern frontend development.
Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript.
Strong professional experience with Next.js.
Experience working on complex frontend migrations or modernization projects.
Ability to conduct technical code audits and provide actionable recommendations.
Strong understanding of high-performance web application development.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with enterprise customers and engineering teams.
Willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
