Domvara Home Intelligence is building Domi — an AI-powered personal home valet designed to help homeowners understand, organize, maintain, and manage their homes.
Domi brings important home information together — including inspection reports, manuals, warranties, service records, equipment information, maintenance history, and other property data — and uses AI to help homeowners make sense of it.
Our long-term vision is to create a living intelligence layer for the home that evolves with the property over time.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Founding Technical Lead — AI / Full-Stack to help take Domi from an early working product into a secure, scalable AI platform.
You'll work directly with the founder and have meaningful influence over architecture, technology decisions, development practices, and the technical direction of the company.
This is a hands-on founding-stage role for someone who enjoys building, solving difficult problems, and helping shape a product from an early stage.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
• Full-stack application development
• AI/LLM integrations and intelligent workflows
• Document ingestion, extraction, and structured home data
• Secure storage and privacy architecture
• Authentication and household data isolation
• APIs and third-party integrations
• Cloud infrastructure and deployment
• Product reliability, testing, and monitoring
• Architecture capable of scaling beyond the initial beta
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience in several of the following would be valuable:
JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js or similar frameworks, backend/API development, SQL/databases, cloud infrastructure, AI/LLM APIs, authentication/security, document processing, and SaaS architecture.
You don't need to check every box.
More important than any particular framework or degree is the ability to look at an early product, understand what's working, identify what needs to change, and build intelligently from there.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
I'm William Kowaleski, Founder & CEO of Domvara Home Intelligence.
My background isn't the traditional Silicon Valley path. I've spent much of my career as a locomotive engineer, and Domvara started with a simple observation from a homeowner's perspective: there should be a smarter way to manage everything involved in owning a home.
Using modern AI and development tools, I turned that idea into Domi and brought the product into early beta.
I bring the product vision and homeowner perspective. I'm now looking for someone with deeper technical expertise who can complement those strengths and help build Domvara's technical foundation for the next stage.
IMPORTANT — COMPENSATION & STAGE
Domvara is currently founder-funded and bootstrapped. This role does not currently include a salary.
We want to be completely transparent about that from the beginning.
We're looking for someone who understands the realities — and potential upside — of becoming involved with a startup at this stage.
For the right person, we're open to discussing an equity-based arrangement, with the potential for salaried compensation as Domvara secures sufficient funding or revenue.
No specific amount of equity is being promised by this posting. Equity, compensation, title, responsibilities, time commitment, and other terms would be mutually negotiated and formally documented before an ongoing working relationship begins.
