The Role
The attorney will work on sophisticated transactional matters within the energy sector, potentially including:
Oil & gas acquisitions and divestitures
Purchase and sale agreements
Joint operating and participation agreements
Oil & gas leases and related agreements
Surface-use and easement agreements
Energy-related commercial contracts
Title and due diligence matters
General corporate and operational matters for energy clients
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements throughout the transaction lifecycle
What They're Looking For
Licensed attorney in good standing
Transactional oil & gas experience
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to independently manage matters and client relationships
Self-driven, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of work
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $185,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
