Regional Director of Operations

Role Description The Regional Director of Operations (full-time, remote) will oversee operational performance across assigned regions, aligning field activities with the company’s strategic objectives. This role includes managing and optimizing market linkage operations, monitoring service quality, and ensuring efficient logistics and farmer support processes. The Regional Director will lead regional teams, set performance targets, manage budgets, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve service delivery and farmer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include reviewing operational metrics, identifying process improvements, resolving escalated issues, and implementing standardized procedures that support sustainable growth. The role also involves collaborating with leadership on regional expansion plans, risk management, and the integration of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, performance monitoring, and regional coordination.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, forecasting, and evaluating operational effectiveness.
Candidates should possess proven Team Management capabilities, such as leading distributed teams, coaching staff, and fostering collaboration.
Candidates should possess Budgeting skills, including cost control, resource allocation, and financial planning for regional operations.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement, farmer relationship management, and issue resolution.
Experience in agriculture, agribusiness, supply chain, or rural development is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Agriculture, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment and across diverse communities.
Proficiency in using digital tools, data dashboards, and collaboration platforms to manage and report on regional activities.
