About The Role
Oracle Health is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the cloud platform that supports AI-assisted clinical systems used by healthcare professionals worldwide. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on modern cloud-native systems within a fast-growing organization, addressing complex technical challenges with significant impact on patient care. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of critical healthcare infrastructure, leveraging automation and best practices in site reliability engineering.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Production Engineering, or related infrastructure roles. Strong foundational knowledge of Linux systems, troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting production environments in cloud or distributed systems are essential. Proficiency with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native infrastructure is required. Additionally, scripting or software development experience in Python, Bash, or similar languages is necessary. Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and observability concepts will be highly advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate curiosity, ownership, and a robust engineering mindset.
Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and improve large-scale distributed systems supporting Clinical AI Assistant services.
Develop automation tools to enhance system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Enhance observability across metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting to facilitate proactive incident management.
Participate in production operations, incident response, and root-cause analysis to resolve issues swiftly.
Contribute to building self-healing infrastructure and operational tooling to reduce manual interventions.
Support Kubernetes-based services and cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to embed reliability practices early in the development lifecycle.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and platform engineering standards to streamline deployment processes.
Learn and implement modern Site Reliability Engineering practices tailored for AI-powered healthcare systems.
