Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Barista / Barista role based in Dehradun. The team member will prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards. Daily tasks include operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation, maintaining cleanliness of the bar and seating area, and ensuring all items are stocked and ready for service. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders accurately, processing payments, and responding to customer needs and inquiries. The Junior Barista / Barista will work closely with colleagues to support smooth operations during peak hours and uphold health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and colleagues.
Practical barista skills, including preparing espresso-based drinks, operating coffee machines, and following beverage recipes.
Effective communication skills for taking orders, clarifying guest preferences, and coordinating with the team.
Experience or familiarity with basic food preparation and handling, following hygiene and safety standards.
Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple tasks during busy hours.
Basic math skills for handling cash, processing payments, and managing receipts accurately.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
