Role Description The Regional Broker Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for developing and managing relationships with brokers and key distribution partners within an assigned region. This role involves driving sales growth by identifying new broker opportunities, supporting existing partners, and promoting Colonial Life’s portfolio of workplace benefits. On a day-to-day basis, the Regional Broker Manager will conduct virtual and in-person broker meetings, deliver product and enrollment technology presentations, and collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to execute regional strategies. The role also includes monitoring performance metrics, forecasting sales, providing training and support to brokers, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Regional Broker Manager will regularly report on regional activity, market trends, and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in broker or channel management, regional sales, or business development within insurance, financial services, or a related industry.
Strong relationship-building, account management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and support diverse broker and partner organizations.
Proficiency in sales planning, territory management, and performance tracking, including use of CRM tools and basic data analysis.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex benefit solutions and enrollment technology clearly.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of workplace benefits, voluntary benefits, or employee benefits programs; familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance practices is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Willingness to travel within the region as needed to meet with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
