Role Description The Vice President of Product is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Arbor Energy’s advanced power systems. This role oversees end-to-end product management, from market discovery and requirements definition to launch and lifecycle optimization. The Vice President of Product partners with engineering, operations, commercial, and executive leadership to align product initiatives with company objectives and customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include prioritizing features, managing product portfolios, guiding cross-functional teams, tracking performance metrics, and refining product offerings based on market feedback and data-driven insights. The role also involves mentoring product managers, establishing best practices, and representing the product function in strategic planning and stakeholder communications.
Qualifications
Strong product strategy and product management skills, with experience defining vision, roadmaps, and portfolio priorities.
Demonstrated analytical skills for market analysis, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
Proven cross-functional team leadership and collaboration skills, especially with engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
Extensive product development experience, including translating customer needs into requirements and overseeing execution through launch.
Prior leadership experience in energy technology, industrial systems, or complex hardware/software products is highly beneficial.
Ability to operate effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment with clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
Track record of building and mentoring high-performing product teams.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
