Darpan TV is a media organization, we have a YouTube channel focused on delivering engaging podcasts and digital content to a diverse audience. The company produces a variety of programs, including news, entertainment, and informational segments, aimed at reflecting contemporary issues and cultural trends.
Role Description: This is a full-time, WORK FROM HOME Social Media Marketing role based in Kolkata.
🔍 What You’ll Do
• Manage Darpan’s Instagram and other social media platforms
• Develop and execute social media strategies
• Plan content calendars and posting schedules
• Identify trending topics, formats and content opportunities
• Write engaging captions, hooks and copy for Reels/posts
• Work on Instagram growth, reach, engagement and follower conversion
• Analyse insights and performance metrics to improve content strategy
• Collaborate with the editing/content team to maximise the performance of podcasts, monologues and Reels
• Stay updated with social media trends, algorithms and digital marketing practices
• Help build Darpan’s overall digital presence and brand identity
💡 We’re Looking For
• Strong understanding of Instagram and social media trends
• Good communication and content-writing skills
• Creative thinking and a strong understanding of what makes content engaging
• Basic knowledge of Instagram Insights/analytics
• Understanding of SEO, hashtags and social media growth
• Ability to take initiative and experiment with new content ideas
• Prior experience in social media management/marketing is a plus, but freshers with strong skills are welcome.
Preferred language proficiency- Bengali and English.
Compensation: Performance-based with incentives linked to your results and contribution.
