Profile Requirements:
Min. 2 years of professional CAD design experience, preferably within civil construction, engineering, infrastructure, earthworks or a related industry.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or relevant CAD software, with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings independently.
Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings, plans, specifications, survey information and construction documentation.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy across dimensions, levels, revisions and technical documentation.
Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple drawing requirements and work effectively with project and construction teams.
Core responsibilities:
Prepare and update accurate 2D CAD drawings and technical documentation for civil construction and infrastructure projects.
Develop drawings for civil works including excavation, earthworks, drainage, pipe laying, concrete structures and associated infrastructure.
Interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, survey information and other technical documentation to produce accurate CAD outputs.
Modify existing drawings based on project changes, site information, engineering requirements and feedback from project teams.
Maintain drawing registers, revisions, file structures and documentation to ensure the latest information is available to the relevant teams.
Liaise with engineers, project managers, supervisors and other stakeholders to clarify drawing requirements and resolve technical discrepancies.
Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, specifications and compliance with project requirements before issuing documentation.
Assist with quantity take-offs, as-built drawings, site documentation and other CAD-related requirements across active projects.
