About The Role
We are looking for an SEO Intern to join our marketing team and help improve our search engine visibility. You will be responsible for executing on-page and off-page SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, and implementing content optimization techniques. You will work with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are followed across the website. This role offers hands-on experience with SEO tools and analytics platforms.
Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research to identify high-value opportunities
Optimize on-page elements (meta tags
headings
content
URLs)
Build high-quality backlinks through ethical outreach
Monitor website rankings and organic traffic using Google Analytics
Track and report key performance metrics
Work with content team to optimize articles and blogs
Analyze competitor strategies and suggest improvements
Stay updated with Google algorithm changes
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Marketing
Business
or related field
Familiarity with SEO concepts like keyword research
on-page
and off-page SEO
Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics
Google Search Console
Ahrefs
or SEMrush
Understanding of content optimization and user intent
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent written communication
Self-motivated and eager to learn
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with WordPress or web CMS
Basic understanding of HTML and website structure
Prior SEO internship or project experience
