Role Description The UKBI Preparation Tutor is responsible for delivering high-quality online instruction to learners preparing for the UKBI (Uji Kemahiran Berbahasa Indonesia) exam. This part-time role includes planning and conducting classes, designing practice materials and mock tests, and providing clear feedback on students’ language proficiency and exam performance. The tutor will tailor lessons to group needs, monitor progress, and adjust teaching strategies to help learners achieve their target scores. The role also involves collaborating with Lister’s academic team to align content with curriculum standards and maintain an engaging, supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
Strong command of Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain grammar, vocabulary, and usage clearly for UKBI preparation.
Experience in teaching, tutoring, or language coaching, preferably focused on standardized exam preparation or proficiency testing.
Skills in lesson planning, curriculum adaptation, and creating practice questions and mock exams aligned with UKBI formats.
Proficiency with online teaching platforms, digital learning tools, and classroom management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and feedback skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive teaching approach.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Language Studies, or a related field; UKBI teaching or certification experience is an advantage.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on UKBI exam standards and best practices.
