Role Description The VP of Creative Communications is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Fastbio’s overall creative vision across all communication channels. This role oversees the development of integrated brand narratives, leads cross-functional creative teams, and ensures that all visual and verbal communications are aligned with strategic business goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding concept development for campaigns and product launches, providing clear creative direction and art direction, and collaborating closely with marketing, product, and executive stakeholders to translate complex ideas into compelling stories. The VP of Creative Communications will review and refine creative assets, establish and maintain brand guidelines, mentor creative team members, and use data and feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness and impact of Fastbio’s communications.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Creative Direction and Creative Strategy to lead multi-channel campaigns and long-term brand initiatives.
Strong background in Branding, including developing and managing brand identity systems and messaging frameworks.
Proficiency in Art Direction and Concept Development to guide visual storytelling and high-impact creative concepts.
Proven experience in building and managing creative teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific or technical information for diverse audiences.
Track record of collaborating effectively with marketing, product, and executive leadership in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Ability to operate successfully in a remote setting, including strong organizational skills, time management, and digital collaboration proficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Design, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience in a creative leadership role is preferred.
