About the Role
Mibboo is hiring a Performance Marketing & Growth Manager on behalf of one of our clients, a fast-growing consumer experiences business operating workshops and pop-up events across multiple locations.
This is a hands-on performance marketing role with direct responsibility for revenue, demand generation and event occupancy.
We are not looking for someone who simply launches campaigns, checks dashboards and prepares reports.
We are looking for someone who notices problems early, investigates why they are happening, tests solutions and takes ownership of the result.
For example, if an upcoming workshop is only 40% full with three weeks remaining, we expect you to identify the issue, develop a plan and act — not wait for someone to tell you what campaign to launch.
What You’ll Do
Plan, launch and optimise paid campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads
Manage marketing across multiple cities, locations, dates and upcoming events
Monitor sales velocity, occupancy, CAC, ROAS, conversion rate and campaign performance
Identify events that are at risk of underperforming before it becomes a last-minute problem
Allocate and reallocate budgets based on demand, remaining capacity and time to event
Test new audiences, creatives, messaging, offers and landing page ideas
Work closely with creative teams to develop and test new advertising concepts
Analyse performance beyond surface-level metrics and understand why results are changing
Find new acquisition and distribution opportunities outside existing campaigns
Research potential creators, partnerships, communities, agencies and other growth channels
Contact external partners, collect quotes and evaluate opportunities when required
Design small experiments, measure the results and decide what should be stopped, improved or scaled
Continuously look for ways to improve revenue and customer acquisition efficiency
Who We’re Looking For
You are someone who prefers figuring things out rather than waiting for instructions.
If something is not working, your instinct is to investigate it.
If you discover a potentially interesting acquisition channel, you are comfortable researching it, contacting the relevant people, collecting pricing and proposing a small test.
You should be comfortable saying:
“Here’s what I think is happening. Here’s what I want to test. Here’s how we’ll measure whether it worked.”
We value people who are commercially minded, curious, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership.
What We’d Like to See
Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads
Experience managing and optimising paid acquisition campaigns
Good understanding of Google Ads
Strong knowledge of CAC, ROAS, CTR, CPM, frequency, conversion rate and funnel performance
Ability to analyse performance and turn data into practical actions
Strong experimentation and problem-solving mindset
Commercial thinking — you care about revenue and business outcomes, not just advertising metrics
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
Strong research skills and willingness to explore unfamiliar acquisition channels
Good written and spoken English
Experience with e-commerce, events, ticketing, hospitality, experiences or multi-location businesses is a plus
What Matters to Us
We care less about certificates, titles or how many years you have spent inside an advertising dashboard.
We care about:
What you have actually grown
What experiments you have personally initiated
How you react when a campaign stops working
Whether you can turn an unclear problem into a clear plan
Whether you take ownership without needing constant direction
We are looking for someone with a strong bias toward action.
Someone who is comfortable testing ideas, learning quickly, killing what does not work and scaling what does.
