User Experience Designer

Our client, a top recognizable airline, is hiring a UX Designer (Mid-Senior Level) working on their Inflight, Catering, HR, and Corporate Systems in an ongoing contract capacity.
As AI becomes more of a focus for the portfolio, the organization is seeking someone with a strong AI fluency, someone comfortable/experienced designing AI-enabled experiences and ideally someone who has designed for at minimum AI features/functionalities.
Contract Duration: 6+ months
*High likelihood to extend, long-term multi-year need!
Location: Chicago, IL (flexible hybrid) or Remote (must work CST hours)
Experience Required:
Experienced Mid-Senior level UX Design experience working for an enterprise organization
Experience designing across web and mobile platforms, with native iOS expertise strongly preferred
Experience leveraging AI tools to improve design/research/synthesis/workflows, and ability to thoughtfully design experiences that incorporate AI capabilities while maintaining usability and user trust
Demonstrate product and systems thinking - connecting to user needs, business goals, and operational realities into effective solutions
Work in a fast-paced environment, be incredibly detail oriented, work autonomously, and work within ambiguity and complex environments
Clearly articulate design rationale, tradeoffs, and recommendations to business, product, and technology stakeholders
Ability to independently also conduct evaluative research, usability testing, and concept validation - as needed only
