Cloud Engineer

Swoon's financial industry client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on cryptography and security infrastructure experience to support a major financial services organization.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of **cryptography, cloud security, PKI, HSMs, secrets management, and cybersecurity engineering**.
🔐 Key experience we're looking for:
• 4+ years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience
• 2+ years of hands-on Cryptography experience
• Futurex and Thales HSMs
• Venafi and DigiCert or similar certificate lifecycle platforms
• HashiCorp Vault or other secrets management solutions
• AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud-native technologies
• Unix/Linux system administration
• Cortex XSOAR experience
• Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, Go, or other scripting/programming experience
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS
🎯 What you'll work on:
• Design and implement encryption, hashing, digital signatures, and key-management solutions
• Protect sensitive financial data and cloud-based applications
• Assess cryptographic and cybersecurity risks
• Help mature enterprise cryptography governance, policies, standards, and controls
• Automate security processes and integrate cryptographic services into enterprise platforms
• Partner with Cyber Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams
Bachelor’s degree and Agile development experience are preferred.
