Work Location - Ahmedabad, Gujarat
We are seeking an experienced Structural Bridge Engineer to join a structural engineering team based in Ahmedabad, India. The successful candidate will own bridge design and temporary works projects, working independently from concept through authority approval.
Lead structural design and analysis for bridge projects and temporary works
Manage projects independently, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance
Liaise with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits
Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, and design reports
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors as required
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in bridge design and structural engineering
Proven experience with temporary works design and management
Familiarity with Indian bridge design codes and authority approval processes
Demonstrated ability to handle projects independently from inception to completion
Proficiency in structural analysis software: STAAD.Pro, MIDAS Civil, SAP2000
Proficient in Microsoft Excel for calculations and reporting
