Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajasthan, India, combining responsibilities of JCB operator, forklift operator, and supervisor. The role involves operating JCB earthmoving equipment and forklifts for loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials safely within the worksite. The individual will inspect equipment daily, perform basic maintenance checks, report technical issues, and ensure that all operations are conducted according to safety guidelines and site protocols. As a supervisor, the person will coordinate with site management, assign tasks to operators and helpers, monitor productivity, maintain logs of equipment usage, and ensure compliance with work schedules and safety standards. The role also includes communicating clearly with the site team, responding to changing requirements on the ground, and supporting safe, efficient completion of project activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience operating JCB machinery and earthmoving equipment, with strong awareness of safe operating procedures.
Hands-on experience operating forklifts, including loading/unloading materials, stacking, and working in warehouse or construction environments.
Ability to supervise equipment operators and helpers, manage work allocation, and monitor adherence to safety and productivity targets.
Knowledge of basic equipment maintenance, routine inspections, and reporting mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.
Understanding of site safety rules, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and colleagues in a diverse team.
Relevant operator licenses or certifications for JCB and forklift operation as required by local regulations.
Prior experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects, preferably in a similar on-site role.
Ability to work extended hours or shift schedules when project requirements demand.
