Description:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test automation strategies
Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites using Cypress to validate web applications.
Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.
Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and test cases.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
Perform manual testing where necessary to support the automation process.
Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies to contribute testing insights and identify testing needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of Industry experience in test automation using Cypress or JavaScript.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Experience with modern web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, etc.).
Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.
Experience with version control systems
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or similar is a plus.
Experience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus.
