Role Description This is a part-time Junior Lawyer role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in Mumbai with some work-from-home flexibility. The Junior Lawyer will assist in updating property-related agreements, contracts, and legal notices. Responsibilities include coordinating with external legal counsel . The role involves researching relevant real estate and civil laws, maintaining organized legal records, and helping ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Marathi language is a must know and the role requires skills to file related documents with perfection
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of property law, contract law, and civil law, with interest in real estate and regulatory compliance.
Ability to draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including agreements, notices, and basic legal opinions.
Competence in legal research using statutes, case law, and online databases, and in preparing clear summaries or briefs.
Effective communication skills for explaining legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders and collaborating with internal teams and external counsel.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a part-time, hybrid work environment.
LLB (or equivalent) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council is preferred or in process.
Prior internship or junior experience in a law firm or in-house legal team, especially in real estate or corporate law, is an advantage.
Comfort with basic office software and document management tools; familiarity with Mumbai real estate regulations is a plus
