CareerMaker.ai is looking for a Career Coach / Career Educator / Course Creator to partner with us in building our career-learning business.
This is not a conventional content-writing role.
We’re looking for someone who can combine career expertise + teaching ability + exceptional writing + on-camera presence.
You will help us build practical, outcome-focused courses for fresh graduates and job seekers and become the face and voice of those courses.
What you'll do
Build the course
- Research hiring trends, recruiter expectations and current job-search practices
- Design course structure, modules, lessons and learning journeys
- Develop assignments, worksheets, exercises, quizzes and practical activities
- Turn career knowledge into clear, actionable frameworks learners can apply
Write & teach
- Write scripts for video lessons
- Present and teach the lessons on camera
- Explain complex career concepts simply and engagingly
- Coach learners through real-world career situations
- Continuously improve content based on learner feedback and outcomes
Help us build something bigger
- Contribute ideas for new career courses and learning products
- Collaborate with our product, design and technology teams
- Bring your own perspective, frameworks and expertise into the curriculum
- Help shape CareerMaker.ai’s career education brand
Who we're looking for
You could be a:
Career Coach | Career Counselor | Employability Trainer | Placement Trainer | Interview Coach | Recruiter turned Career Coach | Corporate Trainer | Learning & Development Professional | Content Creator | Course Creator | Career Educator
What matters most is that you can teach exceptionally well.
You should:
- Be an excellent writer who can turn ideas into compelling learning content
- Be confident and natural on camera
- Know how to explain things simply without making them boring
- Understand what employers and recruiters actually look for
- Think from the learner’s perspective
- Be proactive, creative and comfortable building something from scratch
Experience in career coaching, recruitment, HR, employability, training, instructional design, online education, content creation or course development is valuable.
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini is a plus.
