Electronics Design & PCB Development Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
Indian Armour Systems is looking for an experienced Electronics Design & PCB Development Engineer to support end-to-end electronic product development, including circuit design, PCB layout, simulation, testing, and validation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design analog and digital circuits and develop detailed schematics.
· Design and develop multi-layer PCBs, including high-speed, RF, and power circuits.
· Ensure proper component selection, placement, routing, signal integrity, grounding, shielding, and impedance control.
· Perform SI/PI, thermal, and EMI/EMC analysis and optimize designs.
· Generate manufacturing documentation, including BOM, Gerber files, drill files, and stack-up details.
· Support prototype bring-up, debugging, testing, validation, and failure analysis.
· Coordinate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, PCB fabrication, and SMT assembly teams.
· Maintain proper design documentation and participate in design reviews.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electronics and PCB design.
· Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
· Hands-on experience with Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle.
· Understanding of high-speed PCB design, Signal Integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal management.
· Familiarity with simulation tools such as LTspice, HyperLynx, or Ansys.
· Knowledge of PCB fabrication and SMT manufacturing processes.
PREFERRED
· Experience in High-Speed or RF PCB Design.
· Knowledge of IPC standards.
· Exposure to embedded systems and microcontrollers.
· Experience in defense, automotive, or industrial electronics.
