Positions & Relevant Experience
Assistant Manager – Material Planning: 7–8 Years
Key Responsibilities
Material forecasting, planning, and inventory control.
Ensure timely availability of aircraft materials for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Planning and coordination of aircraft spares, BFE, IFE, rotables, and tooling.
Manage reorder points, EOQ, service levels and inventory parameters.
Handle AOG (Aircraft on Ground) material requirements and urgent material coordination.
Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for material availability, delivery, and requirements.
Coordinate with planning, procurement, maintenance, and other internal teams.
Manage and monitor stock/inventory levels, including surplus and slow-moving materials.
Support material forecasting and demand planning.
Experience with ERP software for material planning/inventory management.
Support alternate parts, class change requests, and planning documentation.
Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
Relevant experience in aviation, airlines, MRO, material planning, aircraft parts procurement or aviation inventory management as per the position.
Hands-on experience in ERP software, AOG handling, vendor coordination, team coordination, stock/inventory management and material forecasting is preferred.
Regular/full-time degree required.
