Role Description This is a full-time, on-site MEP Project Engineer role based in Delhi, India. The MEP Project Engineer will oversee and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and execution for construction projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing technical documentation, supporting project planning and scheduling, and monitoring site activities for quality and safety. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers, resolving technical issues, and providing regular progress updates to project stakeholders. The MEP Project Engineer will also assist in cost estimation, material selection, and commissioning of MEP systems.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration in building projects
Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles related to HVAC, refrigeration, and building services
Proficiency in Electrical Engineering concepts including power distribution, lighting, and safety systems
Understanding of Plumbing design, water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting systems
Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and documentation
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) is an advantage
Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively on-site and manage multiple tasks within deadlines
