Role Description The Engineer, Quality Management System role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), including documenting, implementing, and updating quality processes and standards in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements. The engineer will coordinate and support internal and external quality audits, track findings, and drive corrective and preventive actions to closure. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring compliance with QMS procedures, analyzing quality data and metrics, supporting cross-functional teams in resolving quality issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent quality assurance practices and readiness for certifications and customer assessments.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Management and Quality System implementation, including process documentation and compliance monitoring.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Auditing, with experience planning, executing, and following up on internal and external audits.
Candidates should possess skills in Auditing and root-cause analysis to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support corrective and preventive actions.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, preferably with exposure to automotive or manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of ISO-based quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001 or similar), strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in quality tools and reporting.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work cross-functionally, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
