Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an AI Automation Test Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts for web, mobile, and API-based applications. The engineer will create and manage test cases, execute functional and regression test suites, and analyze test results to identify defects and quality risks. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with developers and QA team members, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and exploring AI-driven tools and techniques to improve test coverage and efficiency. The role also includes documenting test plans and results, contributing to test strategy, and continuously enhancing automation practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing, including understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Candidates should possess experience in Test Execution, including planning, running, and reporting on automated and manual test cycles.
Candidates should possess practical skills in creating, maintaining, and organizing Test Cases for various functional and non-functional scenarios.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Functional Testing, including validation of business logic, workflows, and user requirements.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar) and scripting in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or AI-powered testing tools, and interest in applying AI to improve QA and test automation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and working in agile or DevOps-oriented environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with international teams or clients is beneficial, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with QA and automation
