Senior Specialist – Legal (Trading)
Location: Hyderabad, India

A leading global investment and technology firm is looking for a Senior Specialist – Legal (Trading) to join its Legal & Compliance function in Hyderabad.
This is an opportunity to work closely with trading and investment teams on sophisticated financial-market documentation across asset classes and jurisdictions. The role offers exposure to complex transactions, global counterparties and collaboration with legal teams across international offices.
The Opportunity
Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of trading agreements and documentation.
Work on ISDAs, Master Confirmation Agreements, Long-Form Confirmations, CDEAs, MSFTAs and repurchase agreements.
Support documentation across major asset classes, including options, swaps, forwards and commodities.
Work with counterparties across global jurisdictions and identify and address legal and contractual risks.
Collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders across international offices on trading documentation and other legal projects.
Provide legal analysis while balancing commercial requirements, risk considerations and transaction timelines.
The Profile
Hands-on experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating trading agreements and/or commercial contracts.
Familiarity with financial-market documentation and contractual risk.
Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
Ability to manage multiple matters and priorities effectively.
Strong organizational and project-management capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across functions and jurisdictions.
Qualifications And Academic Achievements
Bachelor’s degree in Law is required.
Strong academic track record.
LL.M. or other relevant master’s degree in Law is preferred.
Familiarity with trading agreements is advantageous.
