Role Description The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing accurate financial statements. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations, and supporting audit and assurance activities by providing required documentation and analysis. The Financial Accountant will monitor accounts payable and receivable, assist in budgeting and variance analysis, and support taxation and compliance processes. This full-time position is on-site and based in the Pune District, requiring close collaboration with internal teams and clients to deliver timely, reliable financial insights. The role also includes using accounting software and modern tools to streamline reporting, improve data accuracy, and support decision-making.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Statements to handle core accounting and reporting responsibilities.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Financial Reporting capabilities to interpret data and prepare accurate reports.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and related digital tools to manage records and automate processes.
Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation principles, and regulatory compliance; experience in audit or assurance is beneficial.
Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently and within a team, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in a CA firm or similar professional services environment in Pune District or surrounding areas is preferred.
