This isn't a traditional ETL-focused Data Engineering role. You'll work on building modern data platforms, distributed systems, and real-time architectures that power mission-critical products. What You'll Own
Design and build scalable, high-performance data platforms and pipelines.
Develop distributed data systems supporting both batch and real-time workloads.
Own solutions end-to-end—from architecture and implementation to deployment and optimization.
Debug, optimize, and extend open-source data infrastructure.
Solve infrastructure and systems-level engineering problems beyond standard tool usage.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive data engineering best practices.
Explore and leverage modern AI tooling and AI-assisted engineering workflows where relevant.
Who You Are
2-4 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform Engineering.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, data storage, and scalable architectures.
Proficient in Python or Go (Golang) with hands-on experience building production-grade systems.
Comfortable working with modern open-source data technologies and cloud platforms like AWS.
Passionate about solving complex engineering problems and building systems from first principles.
Curious, self-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, product-first startup environment.
