CAM Engineer for Hyper mill and topsolid

Role Description The CAM Engineer for HyperMill and TopSolid will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and validating CNC programs for Exotic material in thin wall components, on turning and VTL, Day-to-day tasks include importing and preparing 3D models, developing machining strategies, generating toolpaths in HyperMill or TopSolid, and ensuring manufacturability and dimensional accuracy. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, and quality teams to refine processes, reduce cycle times, and maintain high surface and tolerance standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring hands-on work with manufacturing teams and equipment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Physical Design for precision components.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and drawing interpretation.
Experience with CAM workflows and related EDA or engineering design automation processes.
Familiarity with Cadence or similar engineering design platforms is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with HyperMill or TopSolid for CNC programming.
Understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, materials (especially dificult to cut), and GD&T.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
Bachelor’s diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
