🔹 About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Head – Civil Construction to lead large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for overall project execution, planning, cost control, quality, safety, client coordination, and timely completion.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Overall responsibility for project execution from mobilization to completion.
• Lead and manage project teams across multiple functions.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones and manpower deployment.
• Ensure projects are completed within approved cost, time, quality and safety parameters.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and statutory authorities.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, resource utilization and commercial performance.
• Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, work orders, contracts and variations.
• Ensure effective cost control, billing, measurement and reconciliation.
• Drive implementation of QA/QC systems and project quality standards.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE and statutory requirements across project sites.
• Identify project risks, delays and bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and submit MIS/progress reports to management.
• Support Business Development and Tendering teams with technical and commercial inputs.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure timely procurement and deployment of resources.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure successful project handover.
🔹 Candidate Profile
Qualification: Master’s Degree / Post-Graduation in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years in civil/industrial construction
Industry Experience: Industrial, Infrastructure, RCC, Roads, Buildings, Plant & Factory Construction preferred.
The ideal candidate should have:
✔ Strong project leadership and execution skills
✔ Excellent knowledge of civil construction methodology
✔ Strong planning, coordination and commercial understanding
✔ Experience in handling multiple teams and large project sites
✔ Good client and stakeholder management skills
✔ Strong knowledge of QA/QC and HSE practices
✔ Ability to handle projects under tight timelines and commercial targets
✔ Strong communication, reporting and decision-making skills
