Business Development Manager

We are looking for a results-driven, high-energy Business Development Manager with a true “hunter” mentality to drive new business growth across our manufacturing facilities. This is a remote, Penang-based role covering all business segments and manufacturing facilities across the region. The ideal candidate thrives on prospecting, building a strong pipeline from scratch, and converting opportunities into long-term manufacturing partnerships.
Job Responsibilities.
Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities across all segments for best fit.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, trade shows, and market research across the region.
Develop and execute strategic account acquisition plans aligned to Beyonics manufacturing capabilities across its Asian facilities.
Lead the full sales cycle — from lead generation and cold outreach to solution presentation, commercial negotiation, and deal closure.
Understand customer needs and articulate Beyonics value proposition across precision engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain capabilities.
Collaborate remotely with engineering, quality, and operations teams (across different facility locations) to develop tailored proposals and quotations.
Represent Beyonics at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across Asia to generate new leads.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospecting activity, pipeline status, and forecasts in CRM.
Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities across Asian markets to identify white space for growth.
Achieve monthly/quarterly new logo acquisition and revenue targets across the region.
Qualification & Job Requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA would be an added advantage.
5+ years of proven experience in B2B sales/business development, preferably in contract manufacturing, EMS, precision engineering, or the industrial/medical device sectors.
Demonstrated track record as a “hunter” — success in acquiring new logos and driving business growth across multiple markets/segments.
Experience working remotely and managing a multi-country or multi-segment sales territory.
Strong prospecting, cold-calling, and consultative selling skills.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
Self-starter with high resilience, persistence, and a target-driven mindset — comfortable operating independently in a remote setup.
Ability to understand technical manufacturing processes and translate them into customer value across diverse industry segments.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
Experience using CRM tools for pipeline management.
